  초급과정의 「읽기」 지도 내용 및 목표

• 한글의 자, 모음의 소리가 어떻게 나는지, 입 모양 그림을 이용하여 알아보도록 한다.
• 소리가 나는 각 부분의 자음과 모음을 사용한 낱말의 보기를 들어 공부한다.
• 한글의 자, 모음이 합하여져 만들어진 글자의 짜임과 그 소리를 바르게 낼 수 있도록 지도한다.
• 글자의 식별 뿐 아니라 문장에서 쓰이는 문장 부호를 사용할 수 있도록 지도한다.
• 짧은 글을 읽고 그 내용을 파악하여 이야기해 보도록 지도한다.
• 글을 읽을 때 각 구, 절 또는 문장으로 끊어서 읽도록 지도한다.

 (a) Following illustrations of the shape of mouth, learn to make various sounds (consonants and vowels) in Hangul words.

 (b) Practice combining various consonants and vowels to make up word examples.

 (c) Practice correct pronunciation of words.

 (d) Learn correct usage of punctuation marks.

 (e) Learn to read a short story and be able to explain its contents to others.

 (f) When reading a paragraph, practice taking a pause to mark the end of each phrase or the end of each sentence.

초급과정의 「읽기」 평가사항

• 겹 자음, 겹 모음을 포함한 기본 자, 모음을 올바르게 소리내는가?
• 문장을 무리 없이 잘 읽을 수 있는가?
• 읽은 글의 내용을 올바르게 파악하고 있는가?
• 글을 읽을 때 각 부분을 띄어서 읽는가?
• 비슷한 소리의 낱말들을 잘 구분하여 읽는가?
• 의문문과 평서문의 높낮이를 잘 구별하여 읽는가?

(a) Can students accurately pronounce words that include double consonants and double vowels?

(b) Can students read sentences fluently?

(c) Do students comprehend what they read?

(d) Do students take enough pauses between sentences and phrases?

(e) Can students distinguish different words that sound very similar?

(f) Can students distinguish between questions and statements?

초급과정의 「쓰기」 지도 내용

• 필기 도구를 똑바로 잡고, 바른 자세로 쓰기의 원칙에 따라 글씨를 쓰도록 지도한다.
• 한글의 자, 모음의 음가와 소리나는 곳을 정확하게 알도록 지도한다.
• 글자의 구성요소를 바르게 지도하여 자음과 모음의 순서를 서로 혼동하지 않고 올바른 글자를 쓰도록 지도한다.
• 자음+모음 = 가, 누, 도, 소, 무
• 자음+모음+자음 = 강, 눈, 돈, 손, 문
• 자음+모음+자음+모음 = 닭, 밝, 붉, 싫, 흙
• 영어와는 달리 한글은 받침을 사용하여 글자를 만들기도 한다는 것을 예를 들어 설명하고 연습하도록 한다.
• 주어진 문장을 보고 바르게 따라 쓸 수 있도록 지도한다.
• 문장에서 쓰이는 기본기호인 마침표, 느낌표, 물음표 등을 바르게 사용하도록 지도한다.

(a) Correct students' writing posture and teach them to hold writing instruments effectively.

(b) Let students understand the sound of each Hangul letter while they are writing it.

(c) Study how consonants and vowels combine in Hangul, and practice writing the following:

     ☞  Words that consist of one consonant and one vowel.

     ☞  Words that consist of consonant, vowels, and (base) consonant.

     ☞  Words that include double consonants.

(d) Emphasize that, unlike in English, a consonant can be written underneath the main consonant and vowel in a Hangul syllable. Provide examples.

(e) Read a sentence and write the same sentence in a notebook.

(f) Learn to include the correct punctuation marks in writing.

• 글자를 쓰기의 원칙에 따라 바르게 쓰고 있는가?
• 글자의 구성을 제대로 이해하며, 이에 따라 바르게 쓰는가?
• 짧은 문장을 써 주고 이를 정확하게 따라서 쓸 수 있는가?
• 문장기호를 바르게 쓰고 있는가?
• 그림의 이름과 낱말 등을 정확하게 쓸 수 있는가?
• 교사가 불러주는 단어를 올바르게 받아 쓸 수 있는가?
•  주어진 쉬운 단어를 이용하여 짧은 글짓기를 할 수 있는가?

(a) Do students write Hangul letters in the proper way?

(b) Do students understand the structure of a Hangul syllable?

(c) Can students reproduce a short sentence that they have read?

(d) Do students use the correct punctuation marks?

(e) Can students write the names and words shown in a picture?

(f) Can students write the words that the teacher reads to them?

(g) Given a selection of simple words, can students compose a short sentence?
